Madurai devotee donates horse to TTD’s Sri Venkateswara goshala

Tirupati, July 13 (PTI) A devotee from Madurai donated a male horse to the TTD's Sri Venkateswara goshala (shelter for cows) on Monday. The horse was handed over to TTD SV Goshala Director AVN Sivakumar at the goshala in Tirupati. "Vadivelu Mugandan from Madurai donated a male horse to the TTD SV Goshala. After undergoing the required training, the horse will be used during the annual Srivari Brahmotsavams and other temple services," a release from the temple body said. With the latest donation, the goshala now has a total of five horses, it added. TTD is the official custodian of the Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirupati, which is considered the richest Hindu shrine in the world. PTI MS SSK
