Hyderabad: Woman throws children into well, commits suicide

Hyderabad, Jul 17 (PTI) A woman allegedly died by suicide after throwing her two children into a well following an argument with her husband at Shankarpally near here, police said on Friday. While the woman (38) and her daughter (15) died, her son (10) survived as he clung to a tree branch inside the well, they said. The woman left home along with her children late on Thursday and reached the well used for agricultural purposes. After realising that his wife and children were not in the home, the woman's husband searched for them. He heard his son's voice and rescued him from the well using a rope. However, his wife and daughter met died. Their bodies were taken out on Friday morning after police reached the spot. PTI SJR KH
