2 teenagers killed as speeding vehicle rams motorcycle in UP's Hapur

Hapur, Jul 17 (PTI) Two teenagers were killed after their motorcycle was hit by an unidentified speeding vehicle here, police said on Friday. The accident took place late Thursday night on the Masuri-Dhaulana road near New Life Hospital in Piplera village under the Dhaulana police station limits, they said. Shahbaz (18) and Zaid (14), both residents of Mayur Vihar in Dasna, sustained severe head injuries and were declared dead by doctors due to excessive blood loss, the police said. The driver fled the scene with the vehicle after the accident. Circle Officer (Pilkhuwa) Munish Chandra said Dhaulana police reached the spot after receiving information through Dial 112 and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.
