What you get
Urban areas: ₹600 per delivery. Rural areas: ₹700 per delivery in low-performing states, ₹400 in high-performing states (LPS/HPS). BPL women in all states eligible. Cash given by ASHA worker at time of discharge. No restriction on number of deliveries. Free antenatal check-ups and delivery at public health facilities.
Who can apply
Pregnant women below poverty line or from SC/ST for institutional delivery
For: BPL pregnant women, SC/ST women, all women in LPS states
- Must deliver at government or accredited private hospital
- ASHA facilitation required
- No age or parity restriction in low-performing states
