ਪੁਰੀ 16 ਜੁਲਾਈ ( ਪੀ. ਟੀ. ਆਈ. ) ਓਡੀਸ़ਾ ਦੇ ਪੁਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਥ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੇ ਜਸ़ਨਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਸਥਾਈ ਭੀੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਦਿਲ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਪੈਣ ਨਾਲ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ।
ਲੱਖਾਂ ਸ़ਰਧਾਲੂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਕੰਢੇ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਸ़ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਰੱਥ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਉਤਸਵ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ़ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ । ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਬਲਭੱਦਰ ਦੇਵੀ ਸੁਭਦਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਜਗਨਾਥ ਦਾ ਰਸਮੀ ਜਲੂਸ'ਪਹਾੜੀ'ਰਸਮ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ।
