Guwahati, Jul 11 (PTI) Two persons have been arrested and Yaba tablets worth around Rs 1 crore seized from their possession in Assam's Sribhumi district, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Saturday. He asserted that Assam Police will continue its intensified drive against drugs. "Breaking Bad? Not in Assam," Sarma said in a social media post, in an apparent reference to a popular television series on drugs. "Kudos to @sribhumipolice for seizing 10,000 Yaba tablets worth approx Rs 1 cr and apprehending two accused," he added. "@assampolice making sure drug traffickers don't get a sequel," Sarma added, in another reference to the same series. Yaba tablets are illegal in India as they contain methamphetamine, a Schedule II substance under the Controlled Substances Act. PTI SSG ACD
