Giridih, Jul 15 (PTI) Two youths were killed after their motorcycle collided head-on with an SUV in Jharkhand’s Giridih district on Wednesday, police said. The accident took place near Palmo village within Tisri police station limits. The deceased have been identified as Prince Yadav and Vivek Yadav, both 20-year-old residents of Gumgi village in the same police station area. "Both vehicles collided head-on due to speeding. The collision was so forceful that the riders were flung into the air and fell about 20 feet away from the crash site. Prince died on the spot, while his cousin Vivek succumbed at the community health centre here," Tisri police station officer-in-charge Shambhunand said. The bodies were sent to a government hospital for post-mortem examination, he said. The SUV driver fled the spot, abandoning the vehicle. A manhunt has been launched to apprehend him, the officer added. PTI RPS RPS MNB
