New Delhi, Jul 15 (PTI) Two integrated police facilitation booths equipped with modern surveillance and public service facilities have been inaugurated in Delhi's Karol Bagh, an official said on Wednesday.
Police said these booths will enhance public safety and provide easier access to police services.
The Kalka Das and Arpit Gol Chakkar police booths were inaugurated on Tuesday, the officer said.
"Located at key points in the Karol Bagh market area, including the junction of police station jurisdictions of Karol Bagh, DBG Road and Paharganj, the booths are intended to serve residents, shoppers and commuters in one of central Delhi's busiest commercial hubs," the police officer said.
According to the police, the facilities are equipped with LED display screens, CCTV cameras, public address systems, computers and internet connectivity. Citizens will be able to register complaints, seek assistance in lodging FIRs, report cyber-related complaints and access other police services from the booths.
A PCR vehicle will also be deployed in coordination with the booths to ensure prompt emergency response, they added. PTI BM SMV BM SMV MNK MNK
