Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jul 9 (PTI) Several houses were damaged after four tremors jolted Central Maharashtra's Nanded, Hingoli and Parbhani districts in the wee hours of Thursday, officials said, adding that there were no reports of anyone getting injured. As many as 105 houses suffered damage in Hingoli district, they said. Tremors of magnitudes ranging from 3.6 to 4.6 were recorded between 1.37 am and 3.23 am, and their epicentre was Shirli village in Vasmat taluka of Hingoli district, according to the officials. Hingoli collector Rahul Gupta, who visited multiple villages, told PTI that houses suffered damage. "A few kaccha (thatched) houses in villages that I visited were damaged. Tin roofs collapsed, while some pucca (concrete) houses developed cracks," he said. As per the preliminary survey, 10 houses suffered partial damage in Aundha Nagnath tehsil of the district, while 95 houses reported cracks in walls in Vasmat tehsil. In Aundha Nagnath tehsil, two houses in Kanjara village and eight houses in Amdari village sustained partial damage. In Vasmat tehsil, cracks were reported in houses located in Pangra Shinde, Vapti, Kupti, Dhamangaon, Khandala, Shirli and Rajwadi villages. Revenue officials have completed damage inspection in all affected villages, the administration said. PTI AW VT RSY KRK
