Jaipur, Jul 16 (PTI) Three people were stabbed to death, and another was injured after they were allegedly attacked during a meeting of relatives in Bikaner district on Thursday, police said. The incident took place in Surjawali village under Chhatargarh police station area, where a meeting was being held to finalise the engagement of a girl. According to police, an individual who arrived at the meeting was prevented from entering the venue and asked to leave, which led to an escalation, with both sides clashing. Three persons died on the spot, while another was injured and admitted to a hospital for treatment, police said. Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachhawa said the deceased were identified as Alisher, Chindu Khan and Karim Khan. He said four accused have been detained for questioning, while police teams are conducting raids to apprehend the remaining suspects. Preliminary investigation suggests that the accused and the victims are relatives belonging to the same extended family, the SP said. The matter is being investigated, he said. PTI SDA PRK
