SUV runs over scooter rider in outer Delhi; family alleges murder

New Delhi, Jul 16 (PTI) A 38-year-old scooter rider was killed after he was allegedly run over multiple times by an SUV in outer Delhi's Kanjhawala, police sources said on Thursday. The incident occurred near Chandpur village, police said, adding that the driver fled the scene with the vehicle after the accident. Police are scanning CCTV footage from the area to identify the vehicle and the driver. The victim's family has alleged that it was a premeditated murder, claiming that he had survived two attacks earlier. Police said they are investigating the case from all angles. PTI BM ARI
