Belagavi (Karnataka), Jul 10 (PTI) Senior RSS pracharaks from across the country have assembled here on Friday to participate in their annual three-day meeting, which will discuss a range of issues, including the ongoing nationwide Census exercise. The annual 'Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharak Baithak' of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which began here on Friday in the presence of 'Sarsanghchalak' Mohan Bhagwat and 'Sarkaryavah' Dattatreya Hosabale, will conclude on July 12. The meeting will also review the work of RSS shakhas and discuss plans to increase their number to further expand the Sangh's reach. RSS in a statement said that in the Baithak, all Sah Sarkaryavahs, Akhil Bharatiya Karya Vibhag Pramukhs, members of the executive council, Prant Pracharaks, Sah Prant Pracharaks, Kshetra Pracharaks, and Sah Kshetra Pracharaks from all over the country are participating. As per the Sangh's organisational structure, Karyakartas from all 11 Kshetras and 46 Prants are attending. In addition, Akhil Bharatiya Sangathan Mantris of 32 Sangh-inspired organisations will also be present. RSS national media and publicity in-charge Sunil Ambekar said recently in a statement that following the RSS Pratinidhi Sabha held in Samalkha (Haryana) in March, various levels of Sangh training camps were conducted across the country during April, May, and June. In this baithak, detailed discussions are held regarding the implementation of Karya yojana ( yearly plans) at the Shakha level. The Baithak will also review the expansion of "shakha karya" carried out in connection with the Sangh Shatabdi (centenary) and will deliberate on plans for further maximum shakha expansion, the statement said. Discussions will include reports and reviews of Sangh training camps for 2026, a review of programmes completed during the Shatabdi year, planning for the remaining scheduled programmes, and the Pravasa yojana (tour plans) of the Sarsanghchalak for 2026-27. The remaining programmes of the Sangh's centenary year (2025-26) will continue until Vijayadashami, i.e., October 20, 2026. The Pracharaks attending the meeting will also discuss experiences related to current situations and important contemporary subjects such as the census etc, he added. PTI KSU ADB
