PAC constable killed in road accident in UP's Bulandshahr

Bulandshahr, Jul 9 (PTI) A Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) constable was killed after his motorcycle collided with a pickup vehicle here on Thursday, police said. City Circle Officer Prakhar Pandey said police received information through Dial-112 about the accident under the Aurangabad police station limits and rushed to the spot. The injured motorcyclist was taken to the Community Health Centre in Lakhawati, where doctors declared him dead, he said. The deceased, Prashant Kumar (31), a resident of Khanpur police station area, was posted as a constable with the 41st Battalion of the PAC in Ghaziabad, police said. According to police, Kumar was returning to his native place in Khanpur after completing his duty when the accident occurred. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination after completion of inquest proceedings. Police have seized the pickup vehicle and initiated further legal action, Pandey said. PTI COR KIS APL APL
