Monsoon session of Maharashtra legislature ends; winter sitting from Dec 7

Mumbai, Jul 10 (PTI) Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma on Friday prorogued both houses of the state legislature, bringing to a close nearly three-week-long monsoon session. The winter session of the legislature will be held in Nagpur from December 7. The prorogation order was read out by Speaker Rahul Narwekar in the legislative assembly and Chairman Ram Shinde in the council. The monsoon session had commenced in Mumbai from June 22. PTI MR NP
