Man found hanging inside house in UP's Mirzapur

Mirzapur (UP), Jul 16 (PTI) A 45-year-old man was found hanging from the ceiling inside his house here on Thursday after neighbours alerted the police following a foul smell emanating from the premises, officials said. The villagers said Amrit Lal, a resident of Gopalpur village under the Madihan police station area, had been living alone after the death of his wife, who had allegedly committed suicide two years ago. He was said to be under depression after this incident. Police suspect the man had died three to four days earlier. A team reached the spot, broke open the door and found the body hanging from the ceiling inside the house, officials said.
