Man, daughter killed as motorcycle hits divider in UP's Hapur, 3 injured

Hapur, Jul 13 (PTI) A man and his four-year-old daughter were killed and three others critically injured after their motorcycle rammed into a divider on the Delhi-Lucknow National Highway here on Monday, police said. The deceased, Ashok (45), a resident of Hasanpur, and his daughter Radhika died on the spot, while Meenakshi (8), Anuj (14) and another occupant suffered serious injuries, the police said. According to the Babugarh police, the motorcycle, carrying five people, reportedly went out of control, hit the road divider and then rammed into an iron pole along the highway, they said. On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and, with the help of locals, shifted the injured to a nearby hospital. Doctors said their condition remains critical. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and an investigation has been initiated, the police said.a PTI COR ABN APL APL
