Kerala CM inaugurates Onam bumper lottery with first prize of Rs 30 cr

Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 16 (PTI) Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Thursday inaugurated the Onam bumper lottery, which features a first prize of Rs 30 crore. The lottery was unveiled in a brief ceremony in the chief minister's office. The first prize amount is the highest ever in the history of the Lottery Department, Satheesan said in a Facebook post. The bumper lottery tickets will be available for sale starting July 20, he said. Last year the Onam bumper lottery offered a first prize of Rs 25 crore. PTI HMP ADB
