Gurugram, Jul 10 (PTI) A review meeting presided over by Justice N S Shekhawat of the Punjab and Haryana High Court was held on Friday to finalise preparations for the inauguration of 'Tower of Justice' on July 12, an official said.
According to an official statement, Justice Shekhawat said that the inauguration of the 'Tower of Justice' by the Chief Justice of India will mark a historic occasion for Gurugram's judicial system.
During the meeting, the preparations being undertaken by all relevant departments were reviewed in detail, and every arrangement was assessed, he said, adding that this is a significant step towards making judicial infrastructure more robust, modern, and citizen-friendly.
He also said that the commencement of operations at this complex would facilitate judicial functions and ensure better judicial services for the general public.
He directed officials to complete all arrangements related to the ceremony within the stipulated time frame and to ensure there are no shortcomings in any essential provisions, including security, traffic management, sanitation, electricity, and drinking water.
Officials were also asked to ensure proper arrangements for judicial officers, advocates and distinguished guests expected to attend the ceremony, the statement said, adding that all departments were directed to work in close coordination and complete their assigned responsibilities on time.
