New Delhi, July 15 (PTI) More than 99 per cent of Delhi's 1.45 crore electors have received enumeration forms as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with digitisation of completed forms nearing 15 per cent, according to official data. As per the cumulative status report issued by the Delhi Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), nearly 1.44 crore enumeration forms have been distributed as of Wednesday, covering 99.23 per cent of the capital's electors. The number of digitised forms stands at 21.75 lakh, accounting for 14.99 per cent of the total electorate. With distribution virtually complete, the exercise is now expected to increasingly focus on the collection and digitisation of filled enumeration forms. The Election Commission on Wednesday revised the SIR schedule for Delhi. House-to-house visits by booth-level officers (BLOs), earlier scheduled to conclude July 29, will now continue till August 8. The draft electoral rolls will be published August 17. According to the revised schedule, claims and objections can now be filed from August 17 to September 16. These would be disposed of by October 15, following which the final electoral rolls will be published on October 19. According to the data, North East recorded the highest form distribution (18.70 lakh), followed by East (15.97 lakh), South East (15.45 lakh), West (14.44 lakh) and South (13.43 lakh). Old Delhi, New Delhi and North East have achieved 100 per cent distribution, followed by East (99.66 per cent), Central North (99.64 per cent) and South West (99.67 per cent). North West recorded the lowest distribution percentage at 96 per cent, followed by Outer North (98.43 per cent), West (99.20 per cent), North (99.20 per cent) and South East (99.24 per cent). In terms of digitisation, South West leads with 2.89 lakh forms uploaded, followed by West (2.61 lakh), Outer North (2.46 lakh), North West (2.21 lakh) and North East (2.19 lakh). Outer North recorded the highest digitisation rate of 29.57 per cent, followed by South West (21.80 per cent), West (17.99 per cent), Central North (18.72 per cent) and North (17.82 per cent). Old Delhi recorded the lowest digitisation rate at 9.09 per cent, followed by East (9.21 per cent), South East (9.47 per cent), Central (11.19 per cent) and North East (11.71 per cent). As part of the SIR exercise, BLOs are distributing two copies of the enumeration form to every elector. One copy is retained by the voter as acknowledgement, while the other is submitted to the BLO after being filled. Voters can also submit their forms online. PTI MSJ ARB ARB
