Bihar: Jitan Ram Manjhi exudes confidence in NDA's victory in Bankipur assembly bypoll

Patna, Jul 6 (PTI) Union minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Monday exuded confidence that the NDA will win the Bankipur assembly by-election with a "sweeping majority". He was speaking on the sidelines of the state council meeting of his party Hindustani Awam Morcha-Secular (HAM-S) at Vidyapati Bhavan in Patna. The Bankipur assembly by-election will be held on July 30, and the votes polled will be counted on August 3. "The work of Narendra Modi- and Samrat Choudhary-led governments at the Centre and in Bihar, respectively, is unimaginably good. Anyone contesting against NDA in Bankipur will be swept away," he told reporters here. On the question of donation theft at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Manjhi said miscreants will not be spared. "Those involved in donation theft will not be spared. They have toyed with people's faith, and will receive no respite. Credit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, millions of people received employment because of the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
