Ramban/Jammu, Jul 13 (PTI) At least 18 people, most of them Amarnath pilgrims, were injured when two buses and a car collided outside a community kitchen on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on Monday, officials said. The accident occurred outside the Chanderkote Langar point at around 7.20 am after one of the buses allegedly suffered a brake failure, leading to a chain collision involving one more bus and a car, officials added. All three vehicles, part of the Kashmir-bound pilgrim convoy, suffered damages in the incident, officials said, adding that rescuers rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to district hospital in Ramban. Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Ramban, Dr Sudarshan Singh Katoch, said 18 injured people were brought to the facility and were discharged after first aid. PTI COR TAS TAS MPL MPL
