AAP takes swipe at Punjab Cong over meetings, says only exposed its internal divisions

AAP Punjab media in-charge Baltej Pannu

Chandigarh, Jul 11 (PTI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab on Saturday took a swipe at the Congress over its recent organisational meetings, alleging that the party's week-long "political drama" ended without any decision and exposed its internal divisions. In a video statement, AAP Punjab media in-charge Baltej Pannu said the Congress was free to manage its internal affairs as it wished, but claimed that the past several days had been dominated by speculation over meetings and leadership issues. Pannu alleged that despite several rounds of discussions and high-level meetings, the Congress leadership failed to arrive at any meaningful conclusion, reflecting deep differences within the party. Taking a dig at senior Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel, Pannu claimed it appeared as if he had come to Punjab "on a holiday", spending days in meetings before returning without any visible outcome. He also made a sarcastic remark, saying he was told in jest that Baghel left for Delhi as soon as Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann returned to Punjab. Pannu further alleged that while the Congress remained preoccupied with internal infighting and power struggles, the Mann government was focused on governance and public welfare. He claimed that the people of Punjab were closely watching the Congress's internal disputes and would judge which party was committed to serving the state. PTI VSD ZMN ZMN
