19-year-old student found dead in Lucknow home with revolver nearby; police suspect suicide

Lucknow, Jul 14 (PTI) A BBA student was found dead in a pool of blood at his residence here with a revolver lying nearby, with police suspecting he shot himself. Prima facie, it appears to be a case of suicide. Family members of the deceased have not expressed any suspicion, police said in a statement issued early Tuesday. According to police, the incident took place near Kalakankar House in New Hyderabad locality, under Mahanagar police station area. The deceased has been identified as Harsh Singh (19), a BBA second-semester student. He was found lying in a pool of blood inside his room. A revolver was also recovered from the scene, police said. Senior officials have inspected the site, and a forensic team has collected necessary physical and scientific evidence, police said, adding the body has been sent for post-mortem. PTI NAV ARB ARB
