Two killed as motorcycle rams into parked truck in Sonbhadra

Sonbhadra, Jul 14 (PTI) Two motorcycle-borne men were killed after their bike rammed into a parked truck on the Robertsganj-Mirzapur highway here, police said on Tuesday. The accident took place late Monday night near Khairahi village under the Karma police station limits. Station House Officer Suryabhan said Munna (27) and Surendra Kumar Pal (22) were travelling from Robertsganj towards Mirzapur on a motorcycle when it crashed into the rear of a stationary truck. Surendra died on the spot, while Munna sustained serious injuries and later succumbed to them during treatment at the district hospital, the SHO said. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and further legal proceedings are underway, police said. PTI COR KIS APL APL
