Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 32 years of age as of August 1, 2025. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories.
- Educational Qualification: A degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification. Candidates appearing in their final year exams can also apply, provided they fulfill the qualification before the Mains exam.
Exam Structure:
- Preliminary Examination:
- General Studies Paper I (200 marks)
- Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) Paper II (200 marks, qualifying in nature)
- Mains Examination:
- 9 papers, including General Studies, Essay, and an Optional Subject, totaling 1750 marks
- Interview:
- 275 marks for candidates who clear the Mains exam
