Who can apply
Families listed in SECC-2011 data covering deprivation and occupational criteria. Urban households in 11 occupational categories.
For: Rural deprived and urban occupational groups — approximately 10.7 crore families
- No premium payment required
- Beneficiary can check eligibility on PMJAY portal or 14555 helpline
- Cannot purchase voluntary membership — must be in SECC list
