జల్ జీవన్ మిషన్ 2024 నాటికి భారతదేశంలోని 19 కోట్ల గ్రామీణ గృహాలకు పైపు నీటి సంపర్కం అందించాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకుంది. ప్రతి గృహంలో రోజూ తలసరి 55 లీటర్ల శుద్ధమైన నీరు అందుబాటులో ఉంటుంది.
Who can apply
All rural households without piped water supply. Priority to SC/ST households, PMGSY schools, Anganwadis, and health centres.
For: Rural households without tap water, SC/ST, women-headed households
