Jashpur Tribal Coffee Tea Jharkhand Border Chhattisgarh

Jashpur district in northern Chhattisgarh on the Jharkhand border has a unique micro-climate (900-1000m plateau) where Christian missionary-introduced coffee and tea cultivation in the 1950s-70s created small plantation pockets that continue to produce coffee and tea consumed locally.
