Bhil tribal paintings from Alirajpur and Jhabua districts of Madhya Pradesh, created by the Bhil community who also extend into Rajasthan and Gujarat, are characterised by vibrant pointillist dot-painting technique (pithora-like but with distinct Bhil animal-narrative style) using natural pigments.
