Van Dhan Vikas Kendras aggregate 300 tribal members per kendra to collect and process minor forest produce (MFP) — providing processing units, market linkage and income supplement.

What you get
Rs 15 lakh seed capital per kendra (300 members). Processing unit establishment support. Training in value addition (MFP processing). Market linkage through TRIFED and e-marketing. Minimum support price (MSP) for 87 MFPs. Examples: honey processing, amla/tamarind products, bamboo crafts, mahua products.

Scheduled Tribe communities in forest areas engaged in collection of minor forest produce (MFP).
For: ST forest dwellers collecting minor forest produce
- Must form self-help group of 20 members
- Three SHGs form one VDVK cluster (300 total)
- State Tribal Development Department facilitates
