Voluntary pension for unorganized workers with matching government contribution ensuring Rs 3,000/month pension after age 60.

What you get
Assured monthly pension of Rs 3,000 per month after age 60.
How it works:
- Worker and Government each contribute equal amounts monthly
- Contribution depends on age of entry:
* Age 18: Rs 55/month (worker + Govt = Rs 110 total)
* Age 25: Rs 80/month
* Age 30: Rs 105/month
* Age 35: Rs 150/month
* Age 40: Rs 200/month (maximum entry age)
- Pension starts from age 60
On Death after 60: Spouse receives 50% of pension (Rs 1,500/month) as family pension
If subscriber exits before 60:
- Before 10 years: Get own contribution with interest
- After 10 years: Get own contribution with higher interest
Enrolment: CSC (Common Service Centres) across India, or self-enroll on maandhan.in
Documents required: Aadhaar, bank account/Jan Dhan account, mobile number
One-time KYC at CSC: Free of charge
Who can apply
Unorganized sector workers: construction workers, garment workers, domestic workers, street vendors, agricultural workers, waste collectors, weavers, fishermen, etc. Must be between 18-40 years of age. Monthly income should be below Rs 15,000 per month. Should not be a member of EPFO, ESIC, NPS or paying income tax.
