What you get
Guaranteed pension of ₹3,000 per month after reaching 60 years of age. Premium payment: at age 18 entry: ₹55/month, at 40: ₹200/month. Government matches the farmer contribution equally. On death of subscriber, spouse receives 50% (₹1,500/month) as family pension. If subscriber exits before 60, entire contribution refunded with bank interest. Covers 2.12 crore farmers.
Who can apply
Small and marginal farmers owning up to 2 hectares of cultivable land as per state land records.

Age: 18+ to 40 years
- Must own up to 2 hectares cultivable land
- Must not be an income tax payer
- Not covered under other government pension schemes (NPS, EPFO, ESIC)
- Enroll at Common Service Centre (CSC) with bank account
