What you get
Credit-linked subsidy for setting up micro enterprises in manufacturing or service sector. Subsidy: Urban areas — 15% for general, 25% for special categories (SC/ST/OBC/women/minorities/physically challenged/ex-servicemen/hill/border area). Rural areas — 25% for general, 35% for special categories. Maximum project cost: ₹50 lakh (manufacturing), ₹20 lakh (service). Self-contribution: 5-10% of project cost. Balance as bank loan. Loan from nationalized banks, cooperative banks, and MFIs.
Who can apply
Any individual above 18 years with at least 8th class pass for projects above ₹10 lakh in manufacturing or above ₹5 lakh in service sector.
For: Unemployed youth, artisans, traditional craftsmen, SHG members

- Self-help groups (only those not availed government subsidy earlier)
- Existing units under PMRY, REGP or other government schemes not eligible for second time
- 8th pass minimum for projects above ₹10 lakh (manufacturing) or ₹5 lakh (service)
