What you get
Under KALIA (Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation), small and marginal farmers get ₹10,000 per crop season (Kharif and Rabi) for 5 years = ₹25,000 total for inputs. Landless agricultural households get ₹12,500 over 5 years. Vulnerable farmers (elderly, disabled, debt-ridden) get ₹10,000 one-time support. Interest-free crop loans up to ₹50,000. Life insurance coverage of ₹2 lakh. Personal accident insurance of ₹2 lakh.
Who can apply
- Farmer or agricultural worker in Odisha
- Small (< 5 acres) or marginal (< 2.5 acres) farmer
- Landless agricultural workers also eligible for subsistence support
- Must be registered on KALIA portal
