National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) — Old Age, Widow, Disability Pension

NSAP provides Rs 200–500/month central pension to BPL elderly (above 60), widows (above 40) and disabled persons, topped up by state governments to Rs 1,000–3,000/month.

What you get

IGNOAPS (Old Age): Rs 200/month (60–79 years), Rs 500/month (80+). IGNWPS (Widow): Rs 300/month (40–79 years), Rs 500 (80+). IGNDPS (Disability): Rs 300/month (18–79 years). State top-up varies: total ranges from Rs 1,000 (UP) to Rs 3,000 (Kerala) per month. DBT to bank account.

Who can apply

BPL elderly (60+), widows (40+), and disabled persons (80%+ disability). Must be in SECC data or have BPL card.

Income limit: Below Poverty Line (BPL)

  • SECC-2011 or BPL list inclusion
