National Scholarship Portal (NSP) — Pre and Post Matric Scholarships
NSP provides pre-matric and post-matric scholarships of Rs 500–2,250/month to SC, ST, OBC, minority, and EWS students to prevent dropout.

What you get
Pre-Matric: Rs 500–1,000/month maintenance + Rs 500–1,000 ad hoc grant. Post-Matric (Non-Professional): Rs 1,000–1,200/month. Post-Matric (Professional): Rs 2,000–2,250/month. Course fee reimbursement in full (professional courses). National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship: Rs 12,000/year for Class 9–12.
Who can apply
Students from SC, ST, OBC, minority communities and EWS with family income below prescribed limits.
For: SC/ST/OBC/minority/EWS students Classes 1–12 and higher education
Income limit: Below Rs 2.5 lakh for pre-matric; Rs 2.5 lakh for post-matric
