What you get
Formation and strengthening of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with revolving fund of ₹15,000. Community Investment Fund up to ₹2.5 lakh per SHG. Bank linkage for loans at 7% interest with 3% subvention for timely repayment. Skill training and placement support. 9 crore rural women organized in 83 lakh SHGs.
Who can apply
Rural women from Below Poverty Line (BPL) and vulnerable households
For: Rural poor women, landless labourers, artisans, tribal women
Income limit: Below poverty line or vulnerable households
- Must form or join a Self Help Group
- Group must have regular savings and meetings
- Bank account required after SHG formation
