Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the Order of Mubarak Al Kabeer, Kuwait’s highest accolade, from the government on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has invited Mr. Modi to visit Kuwait for two days. This is the 20th international accolade that a nation has bestowed upon Mr. Modi. Kuwait’s knighthood order is called the “Order of Mubarak Al Kabeer.”
As a token of friendship, the Order is given to heads of state, foreign sovereigns, and members of foreign royal families. Foreign leaders like George W. Bush, Prince Charles, and Bill Clinton have already received it.
