What you get
Rs 1 lakh cash certificate at birth deposited in bank. Rs 6,000 in Class VI, Rs 7,000 in Class IX, Rs 8,000 in Class XI. College admission fee payment (up to Rs 25,000). Rs 1 lakh lump sum at age 21 on marriage after 18. 50 lakh+ girls registered.
Who can apply
Girl child born in MP from 2006 onwards. Parents must meet income and tax criteria. First two girls of any family.
