New Delhi, Jul 6 (PTI) A 28-year-old worked died after allegedly suffering electrocution while operating an induction stove at a restaurant in west Delhi's Punjabi Bagh area, police said on Monday. The deceased, identified as Bablu, originally from Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh, had been working at the restaurant for the past two to three years. Police said the electrocution was reported around 8 pm on Saturday. A police team rushed to the spot and found Bablu unconscious. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. A forensic team inspected the restaurant and collected evidence from the scene. Preliminary investigation suggests Bablu suffered electrocution while working on an induction stove at the restaurant. Police said they are also examining whether the incident was caused by a technical fault in the appliance, negligence in maintaining safety standards or any other reason.
