Woman kills minor sons, dies by suicide due to 'dowry harassment' in Andhra

Vithamrajupalli (Andhra Pradesh), Jul 14 (PTI) A 26-year-old woman allegedly killed her two sons and then died by suicide here in Palnadu district due to "dowry harassment," a police official said on Tuesday. Nakka Bharathi was found "hanging" in Vithamrajupalli village, said the official. "Bharathi fed poison and smothered her sons to death and later died by suicide," the official told PTI. According to police, all the three deceased persons were found with froth in their mouths due to suspected poisoning. Meanwhile, Police are also probing the role of Bharathi's husband to check if he had played any role in these three deaths. Further, Police booked a case under BNS Section 103 for murder and 80 (2) for dowry death. PTI STH SA
