UP: Bird strike on Dubai-Lucknow plane, authorities say flight not impacted

Lucknow, Jul 11 (PTI) Airport authorities found indications of a bird strike on a Dubai-Lucknow plane that landed here Saturday morning but said it had no impact on the flight or the safety of passengers. According to the airport sources, Flydubai flight FZ443 landed safely at Lucknow Airport at 7.11 am on Saturday with 164 passengers on board. "During the routine post-landing technical inspection, indications of a bird strike were observed on the aircraft," a source said. It had no impact on the safe operation of the flight or the safety of passengers, sources said. All 164 passengers disembarked safely. The aircraft is undergoing required technical inspection in accordance with standard operating procedures, sources added. PTI NAV SKY SKY
