Unidentified man's body found in drain in Delhi's Gamri area

New Delhi, Jul 7 (PTI) An unidentified man's body was recovered from a drain near Johar Wala Park in northeast Delhi's Gamri area on Tuesday, police said. Police received information around 12.47 pm about a body lying in a drain near Johar Wala Park. The team found the body in a decomposing condition in the drain near a secluded corner of the park. No visible external injuries were found during the preliminary examination, an officer said. During the search of the deceased's belongings, police recovered a tube of puncture repair adhesive solution from the pocket of his pants. The adhesive is commonly abused as an inhalant for intoxication, the officer said. The body has been preserved at a mortuary for identification and autopsy, while efforts are underway to establish the identity of the deceased. PTI BM NB
