Two students killed after speeding vehicle hits bike in Moradabad

Moradabad (UP), Jul 5 (PTI) Two students of a private university were killed after a speeding vehicle hit their motorcycle in the Majhola area of Moradabad district on Sunday, police said. According to police, the deceased have been identified as Om Prakash (23) and Prince (24), both students of BSc Agriculture at Teerthanker Mahaveer University in Moradabad and natives of Bihar's Saharsa district. SHO of Majhola police station Ravinder Kumar said that Om Prakash and Prince had reached an intersection on Delhi Road in the Majhola area on a motorcycle, when an unidentified vehicle hit them. The impact was so severe that both flew several meteres away, killing them on the spot, he said. The bodies have been sent for a post-mortem examination, police said, and added that they are scanning CCTV footage from the vicinity to identify the unidentified vehicle and its driver.
