Two men thrash brother-in-law in MP's Morena, accused him of molesting younger sister

Morena (MP), Jul 15 (PTI) Two men tied their sister's husband to a tree and beat him up with belts and sticks in Madhya Pradesh’s Morena district after accusing him of molesting their younger sister, police said on Wednesday. The incident occurred on Monday in Bhidausa village under the Sihoniya police station area, they said, adding that both accused, aged 22 and 25, have been arrested. A video of the incident has surfaced on social media, showing the two accused beating their 27-year-old brother-in-law. The police have also recovered videos of the incident from the mobile phones of the accused. The 27-year-old complainant, a resident of Kichal, arrived at his in-laws' house in Bhidausa village on July 13. A few hours later, the two accused stripped him, tied him to a tree, and beat him up, according to police. During interrogation, the two accused alleged that their brother-in-law had taken their younger sister, aged 19, for a walk and molested her, the police said. Sihoniya police station in-charge Atul Parihar said both accused were arrested on Tuesday night after the man filed a police complaint. They allegedly beat up their brother-in-law over a family dispute, he added. The police were investigating the matter. PTI COR BNS MAS GK
