Three killed after motorcycle collides with trailer in UP's Sonbhadra

Sonbhadra, Jul 9 (PTI) Three men were killed after their motorcycle collided with a trailer truck here on Thursday evening, police said. The accident occurred around 5.30 pm near Madaiya village on the Varanasi-Shaktinagar highway under the Pipri police station limits, Station House Officer Rajesh G Chaubey said. He said the three, whose identity and ages are yet to be confirmed, were travelling from Pipri towards Anpara when their motorcycle was hit by a trailer coming from the opposite direction. The impact of the collision was so severe that all three riders died on the spot, the officer said. The bodies have been kept at the Hindalco Hospital mortuary, he said. The deceased are yet to be identified, and efforts are underway to ascertain their identities based on the vehicle registration details and other available evidence, police added. PTI COR KIS APL APL
