Teen drowns in lake in Mumbai's Kurla

Mumbai, Jul 17 (PTI) A 19-year-old man drowned while swimming in a lake in the eastern suburb of Kurla here on Friday morning, civic officials said. The incident occurred around 11.45 am at Sheetal Talao in Kurla West, they said. The Mumbai Fire Brigade fished out the teen identified as Aditya Dilip Tayade, and he was rushed to the nearby civic hospital, where doctors declared him dead, an official said. Several incidents of drowning have been reported in the city since the start of the monsoon. PTI KK ARU
