Six-year-old kidnapped from Telangana rescued, accused held

Nanded, Jul 7 (PTI) Degloor Police in Maharashtra's Nanded district rescued a six-year-old girl who had been abducted from neighbouring Telangana state and nabbed the accused within hours of the incident, an official said. The kidnapping case was registered at Madnoor Police Station in Telangana on Monday after the accused, identified as Rajendra Govind Harne (43), allegedly abducted the girl from Madnoor in Kamareddy district. Using technical surveillance and intelligence, the Degloor Police tracked Harne to Degloor town within four hours and rescued the girl. The child as well as the accused were handed over to the Madnoor Police for further legal action. PTI COR KRK
