Kolkata, Jul 9 (PTI) City-based RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group Chairman Sanjiv Goenka met West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari here on Thursday, and discussed matters to strengthen the state's industrial ecosystem and attract investment.
The meeting focused on the state's growth journey and opportunities to generate employment and enhance its global competitiveness, according to a statement issued by the group.
Bengal has talent, history, infrastructure and entrepreneurial spirit to once again emerge as one of India's leading growth engines, though realising that potential would require investor confidence and a constructive government-industry partnership, the statement said.
