RSS extends condolences on demise of social activist Nand Kishore Goenka

New Delhi, Jul 14 (PTI) The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Tuesday extended condolences on the death of social worker Nand Kishore Goenka, remembering his active support for the cow protection movement. In a post on X, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale said Goenka dedicated his life to social service. "The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh expresses grief over the demise of renowned social worker Nand Kishore Goenka. He remained actively involved in cow protection and various social works throughout his life," they said in a joint statement. Praying for the departed soul, the RSS leaders said that the bereaved family and friends find the strength to bear the loss. Nand Kishore Goenka, social worker and father of Essel Group Chairman Subhash Chandra, died on Monday at the age of 96, according to a statement issued by the Essel Group.
